Chemistry Laboratory

The existing laboratory space has an adequate area with very clean and very safe conditions, equipped with standard laboratory security facilities so as to ensure work safety and security for every student who carries out practicum and research activities. The Chemistry Study Program laboratory management has completed laboratory facilities and infrastructure through various funding sources, one of which is the receipt of the Chemical Security Improvement Grant (CSIG) grant from CRDF Global, an institution from the United States that supports chemical supply rooms and chemical security facilities. Utilization of several laboratory equipment and chemicals is monitored using the Laboratory Management Information System (SIM-LAB). Students and researchers can access the information system to view availability, chemical safety information and location of chemicals / equipment before entering and using them. The Chemical Science Laboratory has also met the ISO:17025 standard which strongly supports work safety and security.

The existing computing laboratory space has an adequate area with very clean and very safe conditions, equipped with a laptop, LCD, sound system, internet access and software (such as Gaussian 09 and Crystal 14) which strongly support practical activities and research in the field of computing. The computational laboratory space for the Chemistry Study Program can be seen in Figure 4.
